Ordinary automatic cutting machines typically just have one blade, and they mostly use V-knives for cutting. Naturally, there are other unique varieties of blades as well, such curved knives. Following successful completion of the wire harness card quantity, the wire cutting machine's associated settings are adjusted to meet the varying processing needs of the wire harnesses.

Once the settings have been established, place the wire harness into the wire feed wheel, push it through the wire pressure wheel switch and fine adjustment, and then modify the rear wire feed wheel's distance to allow the wire to be stripped and cut before it enters the wire feed wheel. There is compression on the welding wire. The welding wire will be fed in accordance with the predetermined specifications when it enters the wire feeder. The V knife starts to close and cut off the thread sheath when it reaches the predetermined front end length. The knife value establishes the blade's closedness. The tightness increases with decreasing knife value and decreases with increasing knife value; the bigger the knife value, the larger the gap between the upper and lower blades. The less the knife value, the less the wire sheath adheres to the blade during wire stripping, and the smoother the wire stripping is assumed to be without causing damage to the core wire. After the wire sheath is cut under the action of the knife value, in order to peel off the wire sheath, the wire feed wheel is reversed to provide lateral pulling force for the blade. In order to eliminate the influence of the concentricity of the wire harness itself and the value of the machete on the cutting of the core wire, it needs to be achieved by retracting the knife. Knife retraction means that after the upper and lower knives cut off the wire skin, before the wheel is reversed to provide lateral force, the upper blade part rises and the lower blade part drops to avoid cutting the core wire. So if your threads are not regular enough and the concentricity is not high, and the knife cuts the core wire when peeling, you can try to adjust the retraction value to avoid it.

The wire feeding wheel keeps feeding the wire until it reaches the predetermined total length position after the pre-stripping is finished. Realizing the purpose of cutting the wire, the blade is entirely closed. The knife closes, cutting the thread end into the thread end, retracting a portion of the knife, and the wire feed wheel turns in the direction of rotation. After that, the wire feed wheel reverses to send the wire to the post-stripping location. The wire feeding and rear end peeling are finished by the exit section. An overview of using an automatic wire stripping machine to remove wires is provided above.
