Hydraulic systems can be contaminated during manufacturing, testing, use, and storage, and cleaning is an important means of removing pollution and keeping hydraulic oil, hydraulic components, and pipelines clean. In production, the cleaning of hydraulic systems usually includes main system cleaning and full system cleaning. Let's take a look at the precautions for cleaning the hydraulic system of injection molding machines.
Whole system cleaning refers to the cleaning of the entire circuit of the hydraulic device, and the system should be restored to its actual operating state before cleaning. The cleaning medium can be hydraulic oil, and the cleaning time is generally 2-4 hours, and in special cases, it should not exceed 10 hours. The cleaning effect is based on the absence of impurities on the circuit filter screen.
Precautions during cleaning:
1. Generally, when cleaning hydraulic systems, hydraulic oil or testing oil used for operation is often used. Do not use kerosene, gasoline, alcohol, steam, or other liquids to prevent corrosion of hydraulic components, pipelines, fuel tanks, and seals;
2. During the cleaning process, the hydraulic pump runs and the cleaning medium is heated simultaneously. When the temperature of the cleaning oil is (50-80) ℃, the rubber residue in the system is easily removed;
3. During the cleaning process, non-metallic hammers can be used to strike the oil pipe continuously or intermittently to facilitate the removal of attachments in the pipeline;
4. Intermittent operation of hydraulic pumps is beneficial for improving cleaning efficiency, and the interval time is generally (10-30) minutes;
5. On the circuit for cleaning the oil circuit, a filter or filter should be installed. At the beginning of cleaning, due to the high amount of impurities, an 80 mesh filter can be used, and later on, a filter with a mesh size greater than 150 can be used;
6. The cleaning time is generally (48-60) hours, which depends on factors such as the complexity of the system, filtration accuracy requirements, and pollution level;
7. In order to prevent corrosion caused by external moisture, the hydraulic pump should continue to run until the temperature returns to normal after cleaning;
8. After cleaning, the cleaning oil in the circuit should be completely drained.
